Maity Interior Studio
I'm Sneha Maity, founder of Maity Interior Studio. I design warm, layered interiors for homes and spaces where life actually happens — scroll to walk through my world.
Philosophy
A home is not decorated — it is composed. Every material, shadow and corner should feel inevitable, as if the room always knew what it wanted to become.
Services
No. 01
Tired spaces, rethought — refreshed layouts, finishes and light that make an old home feel newly composed.
No. 02
Design to handover, fully managed — drawings, vendors, execution and styling. You simply walk in.
No. 03
Stone, wood, fabric and finish — a curated palette of honest materials chosen for how they feel, age and hold light.
No. 04
Precise working drawings — floor plans, elevations and details your contractors can build from without guesswork.
No. 05
Walk through your space before it exists — realistic 3D views that let you see and refine every corner.
No. 06
The story of a space on one board — palette, texture and references that set the direction before design begins.
The Process
01 — Listen
Before a single sketch, I learn how you live — your mornings, your rituals, the objects you love. The brief is written between the lines.
02 — Compose
Materials, tones and textures are layered into a story — terracotta warmth, muted greens, honest woods. The mood arrives before the furniture does.
03 — Craft
Custom joinery, sourced pieces and careful detailing. I work closely with artisans and vendors so every element earns its place.
04 — Reveal
The final layer is atmosphere — light falling exactly where it should. Then the keys are yours, and the space begins its real life.
Selected Work
No. 01 — Retail
A jewellery shop in the heart of Kolkata where the light does the selling — warm brass, velvet-lined displays and focused pools of glow that make every piece feel like the only one.
No. 02 — Residence
A family home in Borivali West, layered with warmth — planned room by room so mornings flow easily, evenings slow down and every corner earns its keep.
No. 03 — Renovation
A tired kitchen in Malad, rebuilt around the way the family actually cooks — smarter storage, honest materials and light exactly where the work happens.
